Bob and Ray, Keener Than Most Persons: The Backstayge Story of Bob Elliott and Ray Goulding
Bob and Ray, Keener Than Most Persons: The Backstayge Story of Bob Elliott and Ray Goulding by David Pollock
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Excellent biography of one of the great comedy teams! Well-written, well-researched … with plenty of anecdotes and background on Bob and Ray’s multifaceted career. Definitely recommended to anyone who likes radio, classic comedy, or, of course, Bob and Ray!

Review: Alien 3

Alien 3
Alien 3 by Alan Dean Foster
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Another servicable movie adaptation from Alan Dean Foster. The major saving grace of the story is that it includes the background and storyline sequences that were deleted from the original theatrical print (but restored for DVD; they were the subplot with Paul McGann’s character, and the opening crash of the EEV). Not a bad book by any means, but you can tell Foster’s kind of phoning these in for the paycheck.
